It should be noted that the organic impurities

having a high molecular mass and possessing hydrophobic
and acidic properties.
The thermal demineralization method yields distillate
the quality of which is superior to that obtained
using the chemical method. However, if the feedwater
of evaporators contains volatile organic compounds
and if deviations from normal thermohydraulic
conditions and water chemistry occur, organic
substances may enter into the secondary steam of the
evaporators
