【2013-05-24】Extended: GACM 2013 Invitation and Call for Papers (Abstracts)

Dear colleagues, dear friends, We are writing you this email to announce an invitation and 'Call for Papers (Abstracts)' for the 5th GACM (German Association for Computational Mechanics) Colloquium which will be held in Hamburg, Germany, from September 30th until October 2nd in 2013. The Colloquium (composed by symposia) aims at providing a forum for young scientists both from academia and industry engaged in research on Computational Mechanics, Robotics and Computer Methods in Applied Sciences. On behalf of the GACM 2013 organizers, we warmly invite you and your colleagues to participant in this Colloquium. The Colloquium website can be found at https://www.tuhh.de/gacm2013 where you can find the detailed information. From the Symposia-section of the website you will see that the Colloquium committee has chosen a wide range of topics, covering the broad field of problems in Computational Mechanics, Robotics and so on. It is our pleasant duty to encourage young researchers in this field to submit contributions to the Colloquium and specifically to the session (symposium) of 'Inverse Problem, Robotics and Optimization'. Accordingly, we are writing to you to encourage you to submit a one-page abstract of the topic you would like to present in the Symposium. Some important deadlines are: May 24th, 2013, deadline for submission one-page abstracts June 1st, 2013, notification of acceptance July 1st, 2013, deadline for early registration The template and formatting information for your contribution can be found at https://www.tuhh.de/gacm2013/authors-information.html The Submission-section is already running there, for the submission you need to register for an account at https://cgi.tu-harburg.de/~mumwww/gacm/data/gacmregister.php then you can upload your abstracts via this account. We hope that you will indeed submit an abstract to the Symposium 'Inverse Problem, Robotics and Optimization' within the Colloquium and enjoy the communication with international colleagues.
