[2013-05-25]The 11th International Congress for Applied Mineralogy

On behalf of the Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST) and mineralogy community in China, I have great pleasure in inviting you to the 11th International Congress for Applied Mineralogy (ICAM) , in Mianyang, Sichuan, China, in July 2013. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming delegates and providing you with an intellectually stimulating and socially memorable Congress. Since its establishment in 1981, ICAM congress has been conducted constantly for ten times in Europe, America, Oceania and Africa. The Asian region is fist host such an important and prestigious academic event. High level political and scientific support secured in China for the Congress will underpin this outstanding event. Under the theme “Applied Mineralogy and Future” the 11th ICAM congress is aimed at further strengthening worldwide academic exchange and cooperation in Applied Mineralogy, and offer a such platform for scientists and engineers to discuss recent research progress with a focus on future trends on applied mineralogy and promote interdisciplinary cooperation. Furthermore the congress is a support program to encourage young delegates to attend. “Applied Mineralogy and future” is the theme of conference, contents as follows: T1: Environmental and Medical Mineralogy T2: Industrial Minerals T3: Biominerals and Biomaterials T4: Advanced Materials T5: Process Mineralogy T6: Mining and Metallurgy T7: Cultural Heritage T8: The Interaction of Mineral with Microorganisms T9: Solid Waste Treatment and Recycling , including Genetic Mineralogy All accepted contributions of 11th ICAM will be published by Springer; and high quality full papers will be published in Mineralogy and Petrology. https://www.icam2013.org/index.asp [ Last edited by 杈杈 on 2013-4-10 at 08:34 ] |
