Many people believe that it is a waste of time to plan too much for the future, while comparing with the value of current time. Despite the fact that present is more realistic than future, a well established plan for the future has its benefit in terms of time organization and overall achievement in a long period of time. Admittedly, the major weakness of planning for the future lies in the losing focus on the present. This is mainly exemplified in the jobs such as nurses, construction workers that require high level of concentration during working. If the nurses lose focus on patients, the patients could severely injured or even die from the wrong medications or medical procedures. Also, the moderate consequence of losing focus on the present may results in relatively low work efficiency.
