请问leaky mode 和evanescent mode有何区别？ 已有2人参与

evanescent mode在物理光学中学到过 ，是沿界面发现方向指数衰减，沿界面方向传播很短距离的波。波导间可以通过evanescent wave 耦合。 leaky mode网上找到的一个解释A physical path traveled by a leaky wave in an optical waveguide, such as an optical fiber. A leaky mode has an electromagnetic field that decays monotonically (i.e., steadily) for a finite distance in the transverse direction (i.e., at a 90 degree angle to the plane or axis of the fiber), but becomes oscillatory beyond that finite distance。也是在波导阵列中出现的。 为什么同样是波导耦合会有两种解？二者有何区别？ |

个人理解：光从光密介质到光疏介质发生全反射时，有在光疏介质中是evanescent wave。没有全反射时，即有光泄漏出去了，是leaky wave。evanescent wave是指数衰减的，leaky wave在有限距离中是递减的，超过之后就oscillatory （如果原本就是oscillatory 的光，比如通常的电磁波）。所以evanescent wave的耦合距离很近，而leaky wave的可以远一些。 至于leaky mode 和evanescent mode，mode是波导里面的概念，从波导里传播的模式waveguide mode过来的，推荐看看波导理论的书，会比较明白。 |
