ICC投稿求助--关于篇幅太长的问题

大家好！ 最近投一篇ICC，技术编辑老说太长，已经改过好多次，还是说太长，下面的是回复 Thank you for your recent submission to Inorganic Chemistry Communications. However, before we can send your manuscript out for review, please note that we would like you to make the following changes/corrections: 1)As per the journal standard, short communications should hold essential information in no more than three printed pages.Hence note that the printable content (research content excluding the abstract, keywords, references, tables etc.) in the manuscript cannot be more than three pages hence provide us the content within three pages. So please submit the manuscript with above mentioned changes. To make these amendments, please login to the Elsevier Editorial System as an author. The URL is http://ees.elsevier.com/inoche/. ICC又没有标准模板，怎么知道打印出来后会不会超过三页啊，再说我把我修改过的内容字体缩小至发表大小时差不多就是三页，还说长，怎么办啊？ 谢谢各位了 |

利用公共的模板排一下版面，看看是不是超过了三页，一般相差不多。下面是艾斯维尔提供的latex模板 http://www.elsevier.com/author-schemas/useful-latex-packages |
