一个投稿范例-献给各位正在为SCI奋斗的虫友

看到近来许多虫友投稿过程中遇到的多种问题，我特意将我的一个投稿经历整理完整作为一个典型例子贴出来，希望能够抛砖引玉，给虫友们一些有益的帮助。各位看后别忘了推荐一下啦。 （1)稿件递交后，过一周左右。语言编辑返回信息如下： Dear XXXX, Your submission entitled "" has been received by XXXX. However, before we can proceed with the review process we require you to submit the following item(s), as per the Guide for Authors: Required item(s): --------------------------------- This article has passed technical check. However, the author is requested to check for the following: 1) In general, the English is clear. There are some minor mistakes. E.g. "Sample preparation, HPLC analysis, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis were perform as previously described". Please revise such sentences for grammar and clarity. 2) The list of References should be arranged alphabetically by author's name. 3) Please follow the format with respect to units. (For more details please check Guides for Authors at: ) ----------------------------------- To resubmit your manuscript, please log onto Elsevier Editorial System as an Author Your manuscript can be found in the "Submissions Waiting for Author's Approval" folder in the Main Menu. Please click "Edit Submission" to upload the corrected files, and when you are satisfied that the PDF meets the requirements, click "Approve Submission" to submit it again. If submitting the requested item(s) may take some time, I would be grateful if you could immediately confirm by reply that you will be able to resubmit the complete manuscript within a reasonable time frame. Both reviewers are in favour of a publication, but request quite a number of changes and additions. I fully agree with this and decided that overall a major revision is needed before publication. Further editorial remarks are: * The language needs some improvement. Please ask for professional help. Elsevier has no language editing service. * Please consider in particular the comments no. 2-4 and 6 of reviewer 2 concerning the experimental part. Please add such information. * Please use international abbreviations for journals. Please use the ISI list under http://library.caltech.edu/reference/abbreviations/. No "dots" after full words such as "Chemosphere". * Please Figure captions on a separate page. * Please give error bars in figures 2 and 4. I assume that you have not carried out the experiment only once. * Please do not just connects measuring points in figures 2 and 4, try a curve fitting. Please list all items you have changed in a reply letter or a separate list. If you disagree with some statements and proposals of the reviewers, please comment on them in a separate letter and give convincing reasons why you could not follow them. Please submit the revised version both in original and with the changes marked. Please also observe the latest guidelines for preparation of manuscripts for Chemosphere. They are available in the internet under http://ees.elsevier.com/XXXX/default.asp by clicking on guide for authors. Please inform us within 10 days from the receipt of the letter, if you will revise the manuscript. Otherwise, it will be erased from our list. We have considerable problems with slowly or not responding authors. To shorten the time between submission and publication, you should send your revised manuscript within 60 days. After this period, it will be considered as a new submission leading to a corresponding delay.
