吐槽~大清早知道被science拒稿

拒信如下，和别人的没什么区别。糟心的是老板还要从高了往低的慢慢投。哎，还等着这个出来，找个好工作，无心和老板讨论这个，吐槽一下~ 顺祝大家文章早日接受，找个好位置。 Dear Dr. XX: Manuscript number: XX Thank you for submitting your manuscript "XXXX" to Science. Because your manuscript was not given a high priority rating during the initial screening process, we will not be able to send it out for in-depth review. Although your analysis is interesting, we feel that the scope and focus of your paper make it more appropriate for a more specialized journal. We therefore send for in-depth review only those papers most likely to be ultimately published in Science. 话还真不这样说的，中国的作者没有和science、nature编辑面对面交流的机会，不送审直接毙掉的几率太高了。国内材料、化学等领域没有人敢说自己的文章一定能送审，即使发过一两篇，所以大部分都是抱着试试看的心理，送审或中了运气好，不送审也无伤大雅。 |

您的心态还是比较好的！但是我要说的是 凡事要都想着人家有偏见，没有机会交流之类的问题，而忽略了自己本身实力的问题那就有很大问题了！很多人被拒稿，是源于对顶尖期刊压根不了解！恕我直言，Top journal之所以叫Top那不是什么人投都能中的，甚至不是每篇都给送审的，他们有很多的标准在那摆着！如果顶尖期刊大部分人都能投中的，请问那还叫Top期刊吗？ 凡事要循序渐进，有这个野心，或者雄心壮志投top期刊本身这个勇气值得赞赏，但是要多多阅读顶尖期刊的paper，看看人家究竟是怎么包装自己的work的，怎么描述自己的实验的，总结差距再开始吧！另外，不是中国作者没有机会面对面，是水平和层次根本不是一个档次的问题，人家大牛天天忙得要死，哪有时间和小兵打交道。。。 |

我10天前投的science的稿子今晚也被拒了... Dear Dr. XX: Manuscript number: XX Thank you for submitting your manuscript "XXXXXX" to Science. Competition for space at Science is becoming increasingly fierce; we currently receive over 13,000 papers a year, but are only able to publish roughly 800. Your topic is potentially important and your analysis is interesting, however, following discussion among the editors and members of our board of reviewing advisors, it was given a lower priority ranking than others. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to send it out for in-depth review. Our decisions are made on the basis of discipline, novelty, broad interest and significance, and the advice of our advisors regarding the potential impact of your work within your field. One guideline we try to follow is whether a study represents a major conceptual advance. Due to our space limitations, we must reject excellent, exciting, and potentially important papers every day. Thus, our inability to send your work for further review should not be taken as a direct comment on its quality or importance. Please be assured that your paper has been given thorough consideration by the group of editors that represent your field and the members of our board of advisors who are active researchers in the fields of XXXXXXXX, among others.
