[交流] 急！关于比利时签证的“接待协议”（Hosting agreement）已有1人参与

我今年暑假受学校资助准备去比利时根特大学做访问学者一年。根据上海比利时签证中心网站所要求的申请材料需要“接待协议”，即"Hosting agreement"。但是，今天比利时的老板说，他们学校像我这样的请情况没法提供这种“接待协议”。原因是，我是受我们自己学校资助的，而不是根特大学。像我这种情况真的不需要么？我上次问过上海的签证中心，签证人员说是要的。有过来人知道这种事么？
下面是原文：
Dear sir

I’m very sorry but the University can’t give a hosting agreement to Prof. ×××.

This because of the fact that the university doesn’t pay his grant. A hosting agreement is stating that we would pay him and that we would also pay social security for him.

The only thing the University can provide is an invitation letter.

Please also note that the registration of this researcher in Ghent University should be through the personnel department.

We have a status postdoc (in international mobility) with external grant.
