The advantages of supercapacitors are delivering extremely high current, quick charge-discharge rate, high efficiency and long cycle life, etc. while the disadvantage is low energy capacity. As an excellent energy storage device, the recent investigations of supercapacitors are focused on electrode materials, electrolyte and separators, among which more attention are paid on electrodes due to their pivotal role in supercapacitors. Polyaniline (PANI), as a readily available, simple preparative and inexpensive material that possesses excellent properties such as stable electrochemistry, good conductivity and high psedudocapacitance, which drives it to be the hot investigation as electrode material for supercapacitors. |
