| The project will give a optimum growth process to design relatively larger size and quality high potassium niobate NCs and reveal the relationship among the crystal growth process - crystal components - defect structure and optical properties simultaneously ,thus providing a theoretical basis for the development of new infrared nonlinear optical crystal, and is of great theoretical and practical significance. |

In the mean time, the relation among the crystal growth process, the crystal composition and the defect structure will be revealed, and the theoretical evidence for the development of novel mid- and far-infrared non-linear optical crystals will be established, which will have great theoretical and practical values. |
