An appropriate amount of the CNF suspension was added to the PDLLA suspension, stirred for 1 h, and immediately vacuum filtered using Millipore
Durapore PVDF membrane filters with 90 mm in diameter and 0.65 μm in pore size (Fisher Scientific, Pittsburgh, PA). The paste collected on the filter membrane was air-dried for 2−3 days. The dried sample cake was found to have a two-layered
structure consisting of a self-standing PDLLA-filled CNF sheet on top of a loosely bonded layer of precipitated microparticles. The bottom layer of the microparticles would crumble into fine powder when pressed by hand and could be dissolved into
ethyl acetate as a clear solution, showing no sign of CNF presence. The PDLLA-CNF sheets were removed from the cakes and were compression-molded using stainless-steel picture-frame molds (1.4 mm thick) on a Carver Laboratory
Press (Carver Inc., Wabash, IN) at 105 °C and 90 psi (0.6 MPa). Three composites were prepared. Their actual weight contents were calculated to be 8, 15, and 32% by dividing the dry weight of the loaded CNF by the weight of the molded
composites. The 8 and 15 wt % samples were prepared by molding six and five layers of sheets stacked together. Because a higher CNF content led to a higher amount of microparticles retained in the cellulose gel formed during the filtration and, in turn, a thicker PDLLA-CNF sheet obtained, the 32 wt % composite was molded from just one sheet. A control sample was made by filtering a PDLLA suspension and compression molding using the same procedure.

取适量CNF悬浮液加于PDLLA 悬浮液中, 搅拌一个小时,旋即采用直径为90mm的密理博Durapore PVDF过滤膜,膜微孔尺寸为0.65微米 (Fisher Scientific, Pittsburgh, PA). 膜上收集物晾干2-3天。发现干的样块分两层结构,上层为一PDLLA自填充的CNF层,下层为松散结合的沉淀微粒层. 微粒层的底部用手挤压就会碾碎成细末,而且可以溶于乙酸乙酯呈澄清溶液,看不出有 CNF的存在. 去样块上 PDLLA-CNF层采用不锈钢图片模具压膜(厚度1.4毫米)90,使用的仪器为一台Carver Laboratory Press (Carver Inc., Wabash, IN),压膜温度为105 °C, 压力为90 psi (0.6 MPa).制备了三个合成样. 用干样CNF的质量除以压膜合成物的质量获得合成物的实际质量百分含量,分别是 8, 15, 和 32%. 质量含量为 8%和 15 %的样是分别通过把6个和5个上层膜合起来压膜而成的,因为高的 CNF含量会导致大量微颗粒滞留在过滤过程中形成的凝胶中,反过来会导致了一个较厚的PDLLA-CNF膜层。含量为32 %的合成物是通过单张膜压膜而成. 控制样是通过过滤 PDLLA悬液而成,其压膜程序相同。
