ÈçÌâ Anti-inflammatory activity of the compounds 1, EtOAc extract, BuOH extract, and H20 extract on the suppressing formylmethionylleucylphenylalanine (fMLP)/cytochalasin B-induced 02*~ generation and elastase release by human neutrophils are shown in Table 2. The anti-inflammatory activity tests on EtOAc extract, BuOH extract and H20 extract revealed that the EtOAc extract was the most potent part. Compound (100ug/inL) exhibited effective inhibitory activity on human neutrophil 02*~ generation, although its anti-inflammatory activity is weaker compared with the known inhibitor, diphenyleneiodonium. Compound showed more potent inhibition than the anti¬inflammatory agent (phenylmethyl) sulfonyl fluoride against elastase release. |
