请教 honorary research associate和visiting scholar的区别？

收到外导回信。可是我不太清楚Honorary Research Associate和visiting scholar 的区别。知道的前辈可否指点一下？ Sorry for the delay. | An honorary research associate should be a person of academic standing who is connected to the work of the department, and who requires access to selected University facilities. Researcherselsewhere, and casual visitors will not find the position to be of advantage to them. Honorary research associates are unsalaried members of staff, and by definition receive no remuneration from the University. |
