在Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology投了一篇文章，因为格式要求重新投，编辑回信如下： Manuscripts must be in good, idiomatic English and must not exceed 8 single spaced pages, including figures, tables, and references. In the transmittal/cover letter, authors are required to recommend the names of at least two manuscript reviewers not affiliated with the authors' institutions. Manuscripts without a transmittal letter and reviewer recommendations will be returned. Authors must describe the novelty or significance of their study and provide reason(s) for publication in BECT.... 在ulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology杂志的guide for authors中提到： Each figure must be placed on a separate page with the figure number in the upper left corner of the page. References are single-spaced and appear in alphabetical order. References must be limited to one page. 我特别困惑的是文章页数的要求，按上文理解要求图要单独占一页，参考文献也只能占一页吗？而且总的页数还不能超过8页，那文章的内容是不是太少啊，若是有三张图，岂不是内容更少吗？我困惑的是他说的页数就是按投稿意见所要求的格式排版后的页数吗？ |
