Mrs. Hicks has shared the same office with me, about one month ago, she moved to another office. I want to say something about her. She is 78-years old this year. In the president election, she voted for Obama, she said she hoped Obama will still work as the president, so that he can do something for the black. Mrs. Hicks herself is a black. Mrs. Hicks works four days a week, as nearly all the Americans here, she drives a car. Last time, she told me, she still works because she needs money (frank?). She said she can keep the money, so that she can help others when they need money. Yesterday, when I had lunch in the lunch room with several others employees here, Mrs. Hicks came, she said her great great grandson was born in the morning. She has told me that she would have a great great grandson this month, but last time she said the boy would come on about Feb. 27. It is difficult for her to make sure how many "great" she should use to address this boy. At last, she told us the boy was the fifth generation, if she was the first. I told her, she may see another generation after about 20 years, she said something like, it depends on the God, whether she can live to 100. Last time, she said, when somebody has difficult, or is sick, she will pray for him or her, during the presidential election, she prayed for Obama. This is Mrs. Hicks, my colleague.   |

Wow,she has 5th generation at the age of 78,it's amazing,let's do a simple calculation: average a generation requires about 16.5 years I admire American.My grandfather is 90 years old, but my niece who is the eldest 4th generation is just 20 years old, maybe few years later my family will has 5th generation  |
