Irstea (formerly called Cemagref) is the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture.
It focuses on three main social challenges: Sustainable management of land and water, natural hazards and environmental quality. Within the framework of French and European research, the Institute carries out research in support of public policies and in partnership with industry.
With a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics, you have knowledge in numerical methods applied to fluids / structures interaction studies and a solid background in experimental techniques. You have a good practice of scientific English. You enjoy team and interdisciplinary work. You are concerned about the operational nature of your work and its scientific valorization in high level journals, you like exchange and communication with the world of decision making.
