我申请的是King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals 大学一个教授的薄厚。和他来往了几份邮件（以前也来这里咨询过），最近收到这个学校类似人事部门一份邮件，Kindly fill out the attached KFUPM official application form, you may return the same to us via e-mail along with the following document/s to complete your profile.
Scanned copies of your degrees/certificates and official transcript/s
Upon receipt of the above information/documents, the Departmental Faculty Applications Committee will then be able to evaluate your credentials.

我就发邮件问这个教授我到底在不在他的shortlist里面他回复如下：
If you have received a such e-mail, this means that you have been shortlisted. A second short list will be made after receiving the completed forms and copies of the transcripts. Your formation and experience are of interest to me, however, the only problem in your application is that you have a child. I need a strong justification for your case. The position requires a person who is single or married with no children.
I leave the decision to you.
我有几个问题咨询下：
1这个职位为什么不想要有小孩的，影响工作还是他要花额外的钱？
2.沙特那边工资到底有多少啊（我在香港做过一战博士后，不是fresh Phd了）我现在在国内私企也有税前24万左右了。
3 带老婆过去方便吗？女的在那边有危险吗？
4最近海外一个沙特薄厚（国王科技大学的）把那边描述的非常差，不知道是不是个别现象还是普遍现象
