Director, Quality Assurance Qualifications: PhD degree in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineer or equivalent with a minimum of 7+ years of total industrial experiences in Quality Units (preferably with small molecules) in either developmental setting or commercial manufacturing setting from a major pharmaceutical company or from a generic drug industry. Besides the QA expertise, the candidate should ideally have some prior technical experiences in either drug product formulation area, or in analytical area (such as stability testing), or in GMP training/GMP enforcement area. The candidates are expected to have the following skills: 1) have excellent English skills to communicate effectively to our clients, to generate/revise QA related documentations with high quality, and to provide prompt oral/written updates to management. 2) have good leadership skill to help identify and hire additional QA staff, to provide GMP trainings, to lead and grow other QA staff, and to influence scientists working in other departments. 3) have a record as a good problem solver with proactive and can-do attitude, able to closely track multiple GMP activities under his/her supervision. Responsibilities: The incumbent, depending on experience, will either be responsible for QA activities supporting GMP Analytical Labs/Stability Centers or supporting Drug Product Formulation/Scale-Up activities. The incumbent will also lead/participate in interactions with external (clients) and with other internal functional groups/quality stake holders. The incumbent will be in charge of internal GMP audits and GMP compliance enforcements, and any other responsibilities as assigned.
