大家帮忙分析下瑞典和美国教授的回复已有1人参与

首先说下陶瓷过程: 第一个回合:2013-1-25,给瑞典Uppsala University一个教授(57岁,是个领域牛人)发去第一封陶瓷信. 2月4号,得到如下回复: Dear ***, Thank you for interest in a post doc position at Uppsala University. I have just employed a postdoc (started 1 of Feb) so I may not have the possibility to recruit another one in the near future. But I will carefully consider your application since I think you have an interesting research profile. Another option would be to invite you for a short term visit. Lets keep in contact. 第二个回合:我一看博后没戏,就发了个表示感谢的邮件,继续找别的职位. 没想到昨天(2月12号)收到那个教授如下的回复: Dear ***, I am currently investigating if it would be possible to offer you a one-year post-doc position. I cannot promise anything at the moment but as I told you before, I think you have a very interesting background for us. Best regards and lets keep in touch! 仔细一看收件人那里多了个人,原来这个教授cc转发给了另外一个教授(Department Head). 我的问题是: (1) 教授最后那个回复是不是有戏? PS: 我的理解是第一次回复他由于刚招到一个博后,没有钱招我,但是又挺想要我的,所以和Department Head(这个是系主任的意思吗?)问问,看能不能系里边出钱招我. 有没有前辈是通过这个途径读的博后?另外,待遇会不会比正常教授项目招的博后差? (2) 乌普萨拉大学好不好?博后工资待遇如何?带上老婆女儿去那边生活,签证有没有问题? (3) 还有个美国奥本大学(美国排名80多)一个华人女副教授对我好像有点意思,要了三封推荐信后,回复如下: I am current working on a proposal and will be very busy till the end of next week. If you are still interested in this position, I need you to follow up with me the last week of Feb, and we can talk about some details of this position. 这个回复是不是说这个月底要面试我? (4) 要是两个offer都下来,到底选哪个好?瑞典还是美国? |
