[求助] 搞不懂的审稿过程 ACS applied materials & interfaces

本人一篇文章投在ACS applied materials & interfaces上，相当奇怪的审稿过程，求教各位大牛们！
投出后，1个月审稿意见返回，4个审稿人，3个同意小修后接收，1个拒稿（压根没认真看文章），主编给了大修 I am willing to consider another revised version of the manuscript for publication in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces pending a second round of external review. Please consider all the comments by reviewers carefully.（状态显示Major Revision）
我补了下实验，3个星期后投修改1号稿,2天后主编回复On the basis of my own assessment of the revised manuscript, I am willing to consider another revised version of this paper for publication in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces pending a second round of external review。让我继续改一些东西（Major revision）
仔细改了下，10天后，2号稿修回，1天后，主编回复
Thank you for submitting your revised manuscript to ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. I would be pleased to consider further for publication another revised manuscript that addresses the editorial concerns and corrects the following technical issues:（这时候后台显示Minor revision，变小修了。。。）
第三稿2天后修回，编辑那边没动静了，然后他的一个peer review的助手（第一稿投过去都没这个人啥事）回复：There is just one more issue that need to be corrected before we accept your manuscript.
已经过去2天了。
不懂怎么回事，再等消息呢现在，原本不是要大修，二次外审的嘛怎么一下变这样了。。。还要不要送外审啊。。。各位有经验的前辈大牛们，指导一下呗，感激！
