Scope
2013 International Conference on Methods, Architecture, Applied Mechanics and Materials for Civil Engineering (MAMCE 2013) will be held on May 29-30, 2013, Hangzhou, China. MAMCE 2013 will provide a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present state-of-art advances and innovations in theoretical foundations, systems, infrastructure, tools, testbeds, and applications for mechanics and materials, as well as to identify emerging research topics and define the future. We solicit both academic, research, and industrial contributions. We welcome technical papers presenting research and practical results, position papers addressing the pros and cons of specific proposals, survey papers addressing the key problems and solutions, short papers on work in progress, and also panel proposals. We hope to promote the development and progress of research efforts in related fields through this conference.

MAMCE 2013 will be held on May, 2013, Hangzhou. As the capital city of Zhejiang province, Hangzhou is located in southeast China and about one hour drive (150 kilometers) from Shanghai. Contrasting to the hustle and bustle of Shanghai, Hangzhou is well-known for its extraordinary beauty and elegance. A popular Chinese saying boasts: "above there is heaven, on earth there is Hangzhou and Suzhou."

Publication
The proceedings of MAMCE 2013 all papers, both invited and contributed, will be reviewed by two or three experts from the PC. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in international journal "Applied Mechanics and Materials" [ISSN: 1660-9336, Trans Tech Publications] and "Advanced Materials Research" [ISSN: 1022-6680],which are indexed by EI Compendex. Some selected good papers will be recommended for publication in some international journals that are indexed by SCI or EI.
