Returning motorcyclist couple killed in a traffic accident.

|
On Feb 3, a young couple who are both 25 years old were killed in Wuzhou City, Guangxi. They are among a group of people who work in Guangdong and are returning to their hometown in Guangxi, by motorcycles. According to reports, they got up early that day, and started their journey from Jiangmen, a city in Guangdong province. It is believed that this couple are expected to get to their hometown in Pingnan county, Guangxi, late that night. Their motorcycle crashed with a heavy-duty truck in Wuzhou, the young couple died soon after the crash. They have a one-year old son in their hometown. At present, it is still not sure who is responsible for this crash.   |

Speeding, drunk driving,overloading and bad driving habits compounded with poor road conditions, especially in some mountainous regions, often lead to a rash of road accidents around this time of the year. Especially Spring Festival is around the corner, lots of people driving car/motorcycle return to home,and I wacthed CCTV news channel two days ago, it reported that the volunteers have provided rest area and warm water to those people who ride motorcycle to home,but the accident still happened...... I hope the ministry of railway can further improve their quality of service..... |
