【小兵分享系列之十】电百科全书/电池技术术语表-英文版-共32页

Electropaedia Battery Technology Glossary 电百科全书/电池技术术语表 该术语表共32页，对电池领域的很多概念做了准确的阐述，概念涵盖也比较齐全。 分享缘由一：前段时间经常看到有虫子在电化学版求助一些电池术语的概念及区别，例如如何区别阳极、阴极、正极、负极，例如如何区别充电效率和库伦效率等。初学者打基础之时，对电池的相关概念建立准确的理解和认识，可以为后期阅读英文资料或者写英文文章有一定的帮助。 分享缘由二：小兵自己接触电池领域已有一阵时间，很多电池相关的“词汇”或者“术语”，虽然经常在文献和资料中阅读，但若让自己准确而简练地用中文或者英文写出其含义，却无法做到——这时感觉“修炼不到家”。于是再次细读这些“术语”的解释，认识更加清晰，理解也加深了一些。——不知一些从事电池研究一段时间的科研人员是否有同感？ 基于上述两点，小兵分享《Electropaedia Battery Technology Glossary》给有需要的虫子，一起学习，共同进步！ 一些相关概念举例 例 1 Aonde，Cathode，Positive electroe，Negative electrode的定义 例2 Charge efficiency和Coulombic Efficiency的定义 例3 SOC，DOD，SOH的定义 例4 Calendar life Cycle life 的定义 例5 Internal impedance和Internal resistance 的定义 A Active material - The chemically reactive materials in an energy cell which react with each other converting from one chemical composition to another while generating electrical energy or accepting electric current from an external circuit. Ageing - Permanent loss of capacity with frequent use or the passage of time due to unwanted irreversible chemical reactions in the cell. Ambient temperature - The average temperature surrounding the battery, typically air. Anode - The electrode in an electrochemical cell where oxidation takes place, releasing electrons. During discharge the negative electrode of the cell is the anode. During charge the situation reverses and the positive electrode of the cell is the anode. Arrhenius Equation - The relationship between the rate at which a chemical reaction proceeds and its temperature. In general terms, heat speeds up the chemical action. Assembled battery - A battery composed of two or more cells. …… B Battery Management System (BMS) - Electronic circuits designed to monitor the battery and keep it within its specified operating conditions and to protect it from abuse during both charging and discharging. Button cell - Miniature cylindrical cell with a characteristic disc shape. …… C C Rate - C is a value which expresses the rated current capacity of a cell or battery. A cell discharging at the C rate will deliver its nominal rated capacity for 1 hour. Charging and discharging currents are generally expressed as multiples of C. The time to discharge a battery is inversely proportional to the discharge rate. Calendar life - The expected life time duration of a cell whether it is active use or in storage Capacitance (C) - A measure of the ability of a device to store charge per unit of voltage applied across the device. C=Q/V Farads. The capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor is given by C = ε A/d where ε is the permittivity of the dielectric, A is the area of the plates (electrodes) and d the distance between them. 1 Farad = 1 Coulomb per Volt. (Q / V) The current through the capacitor is given by the relationship i =C d/dtV(t) Capacitor - A passive electrical device that stores energy in an electric field. Capacity - The electric energy content of a battery expressed in "Watt hours". Batteries with the same output voltage also use "Ampere hours" for comparing capacities. Cathode - The electrode in an electrochemical cell where reduction takes place, gaining electrons. During discharge the positive electrode of the cell is the cathode.
