Fusion reactors generate energy by fusing hydrogen isotopes¡ªbut no fusion reactor has yet produced more energy than required to keep it running. ITER¡¯s target is to produce 500 megawatts (MW) for 500 seconds at a time. Scientists at PPPL are preparing a work plan this month for the collaboration, which initially will run for 6 months. K-DEMO will be roughly the same size as ITER but it will produce 1000 MW and run for several weeks continuously. Rather than constructing an international demonstration reactor, many of the partners are considering building their own demonstration plants, including China, Japan, and India¡ªand now South Korea looks set to join the race. ¹ú¼ÊÈȺ˾۱äʵÑé·´Ó¦¶Ñ£¨ITER£©ÏîÄ¿ÊÇÒª½¨ÔìÒ»¸ö¿ÉÒÔ²úÉú¸»ÓàÄÜÁ¿µÄºË¾Û±ä·´Ó¦¶Ñ£¬¸ÃÏîÄ¿ÖÐÃÀ¹úºÍº«¹úÊǺÏ×÷Õߣ¬ÏîÄ¿²ÎÓëÕß»¹°üÀ¨Öйú£¬Å·ÃË£¬Ó¡¶È£¬ÈÕ±¾ºÍ¶íÂÞ˹¡£ITERµÄÄ¿±êÊÇÒªÄÜÒ»´ÎÐÔÔÚ500ÃëÄÚ²úÉú500Õ×ÍßµÄÄÜÁ¿¡£ÆÕÁÖ˹¶ÙµÈÀë×ÓÎïÀíʵÑéÊҵĿÆѧ¼ÒÃÇÕâ¸öÔÂÕýÔÚΪ˫·½×ʼµÄ6¸öÔºÏ×÷Æð²ÝÒ»·Ý¹¤×÷¼Æ»®¡£Ë«·½ºÏ×÷Ñз¢µÄ·´Ó¦¶ÑK-DEMO´óÖºÍITERÒ»Ñù´óС£¬µ«ÊÇ»á²úÉú1000Õ×ÍßµÄÄÜÁ¿²¢ÄÜÁ¬ÐøÊýÐÇÆÚ²»¼ä¶ÏÔËת¡£ITERµÄºÜ¶àºÏ×÷ÕßÕýÔÚ¿¼Âǽ¨ÔìËûÃÇ×Ô¼ºµÄʾ·¶µç³§£¬°üÀ¨Öйú£¬ÈÕ±¾ºÍÓ¡¶È£¬¶øÇÒÏÖÔÚ¿´ÆðÀ´º«¹úÒ²Òª¼ÓÈëÕâÒ»ÐÐÁС£ *************************************************************** ScienceµÄÔÎĺͱ¾·Òë½öÓÃÓÚÍøÓѽ»Á÷ѧϰ֮Óã¬ÈôÄúÓÐÆäËüÓÃ;£¬±ÈÈçÉÌÒµÓÃ;µÈ£¬ÇëÁªÏµScienceÔÓÖ¾ÉçÁ˽âÔÎÄʹÓÃȨµÈÏà¹ØÊÂÒË¡£Ð»Ð»£¡ |
