Numerous studies have done on the mineralogical structure of zinc dust and mud with conventional heating method. As an outside (surface) heated method, Conventional heating transfer heat by conduction, convection and radiation which can easily lead a temperature gradient and reduction kinetics conditions deterioration. For dust and coal dust has endogenous heat characteristics, microwave heating, can provide good conditions for the reduction kinetics. This test uses mineralogical analysis method to study the zinc dust and mud mineralogical structure with Microwave reduction and to discuss its reduction process.
