What are the unforgetable things in 2012 for you?

The year 2012 has passed for days. Maybe in this year you have published some high quality papers, your experiments have produced perfect results, you found good jobs, you gotten offers from CSC or something alike. Apart from all these, are there any unfogetable things for you? Have you met with the ones in your eyes or honourable men that brought good fortunes to you? Do you think you have matured to some extent or picked up the passions for the life and work in the year? In the summer of 2012 I met with two women aged around 60 years old, one from America, a nurse, the other from Wuhan, China, a professor, in different occasions. We talked a lot in the plane close to each other or in our tours for several places of interest. They were both graceful, kind, broad-minded and understanding, and kept light hearts. I respected them a lot, but treat them more like friends. Though we may not keep in ties in the future, I will remember them for long. What about your memories in 2012?
