Research Fellow Position in: Oil-Gas two Phase flow in Pipeline Most of the research efforts on two-phase flow have been heavily directed towards the flows of gases and Newtonian liquids. In the oil and process industries, non-Newtonian liquids, especially pseudoplastic liquids are encountered frequently through pipelines over long distances. A clear understanding of the basic flow mechanism involved non-Newtonian liquid / gas flow is essential to economic design of equipment. The project aim to develop theoretical / numerical models to investigate the effects of shear-thinning non-Newtonian two phase flow. Requirements PhD degree with experience in theoretical modeling /numerical simulation of multiphase flow, non-Newtonian flow.
