Claims that deconvoluted DSC peaks correspond each to a single process should be substantiated using on of the isoconversional methods (KAS, Ortega, Vyazovkin). If Ea of deconvoluted peaks proves to be independent of reaction conversion rate, this would confirm that deconvolution is performed well and that each deconvoluted peak corresponds to individual step of the reaction.
