Cocoa Butter Replacer inside chocolate is harmful to health

The Cocoa Butter Replacer, abbreviated as CBR has been widely used in chocolate products, has been pinpointed related to several chronic disease. However, from manufacturer's opinion, such CBR was employed based on a single reason: to reduce cost. Consumers view this is not significant and as a matter of fact, price of merchandise are only set as they are expected, and the cost of commercial advestisement is much higher than that from reduction by using CBR. Tell me your opinion, if you would pay 10 RMB for a chocolate with real Cocoa butter, or pay 9RMB for a so called chocolate but with CBR. |
