The Burgett Research Group at the University of Oklahoma is accepting applications for a postdoctoral position in the molecular pharmacology of natural products. The focus of the Burgett Group’s research is to use techniques in organic synthesis, cellular biology and protein biochemistry to identify the cellular mechanism of action of biologically active small molecules, and to use this molecular pharmacological research platform to make discoveries in human-disease biology and to advance novel compounds for drug development.
We are seeking postdoctoral applicants with strong experimental research experience interested in this cross-disciplinary research mission, and we are especially seeking applicants with experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry.
