        Abstract:        As a strategy of maintenance, RBM (Risk Based Maintenance) are playing more and more important role in the maintenance of large equipment in corporations. After analyzing the meaning and characteristics of RBM, the authors despicted the maintenance decision flow base on RBM. The risk assessment model of weapon materiel was constructed and the index of the model was analyzed in detail. Finally, the authors made some useful suggestions on implementing maintenance decision mode based on RBM. © 2012 IEEE.
