The Condition of My Study Up To Now

I'm writing this passage to have a look backward at my study until now. In the period of my primary and middle school, I found myself fond of learning and had much enthusiasm to try my best to deal with my homework and to absorb knowledge as much as possible. And at that time, the compliment and encouragement from my relatives and teachers drove me to work harder. After I enrolled in high school, the sudden pressure that came from my classmates made me difficult to become popular with my study peers in the same class and to be favored by teachers. Some of the others were so excellent in learning and other aspects that I felt at a loss. And there were two other important reasons for my depression with study, one was that I met with lots of confusions that I could't solve, such as what the real world was like, what was the knowledge for, what was the real pleasure and how to seek for it, and the meaning that I live. The other one was that I had my own computer and I found myself indulging into the fantastic cyberspace, and therefore I lost my interest in the study gradually. Finally, I embraced my university life and I attained much more freedom than ever before. For instance, going to class was optional instead of enforcement and I wouldn't be ashamed with a low score. Indeed, to be free from pressure to get a high score was the most wonderful thing during my whole study life. |

Your picture is cool. At first I thought you were a girl; later I saw the cyberspace I knew you were a boy.  The same experiences happen to many people including some of my friends. The attentions and encouragements from teachers and the ways they teach will to much extent decide whether or not the students have interest on the subjects, especially in the middle school. In the high school, the stress becomes higher, temptations from the electrical games and other things outside are more, some boys will get confused. I think you're free and mature now, so you can study according to your needs on work, or out of interests, or for a long-term plan in the future. It's never to late to learn. Boys always have inestimable potentials when they're clear where they should go.  |
