Summary of 9th English Corner

Last Sunday we held the english corner, only six people came, our topic is moive music. At the first sight of it , I believe it was the same one with music, I told Allen, u made us confused, u know, a couple weeks before, we talked about film, then moive star, now music. When I searched the internet, I found it was so different from music, and the music in film played a really importmant role, and nothing can take the place of it. Allen asked Frank to be the first one to express which song impressed him most, he said “Cirle of life”, which come from the moive “The Lion King 1”,and he let us enjoyed the song. After listening, Frank told us why he loved this song so much, he said the song is vacant, grand, when he heard this, he can relax himself, and can imaging himself in an vast grass land. (Frank is only 13 years old, he is one of the key schools student. Good at oral english and hard working.) Allen: Do u remember when this song appears in the film? Frank:At the beginning of the moive, when the small lion was born. Allen: Ok, thanks Frank. So Leo, have u prepared sth to share with us? Leo: I do have some lovely music to share with u guys. The first one is “ The Sound Music”, the second one is “High school Musical”. Then he introduced the details about the sound music, and also sang it, not only himself, we all took part in his singing. Doe, a deer, a female deer, Ray, a drop of golden sun, Me, a name I call myself, Far, a long, long way to run, Sew, a needle pulling thread, La, a note to follow Sew, Tea, a drink with jam and bread, That will bring us back to Do (oh-oh-oh), Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do, So-do! Edelweiss,edlweiss, every moring you greet me, small and white, clean and white, you look happy to meet me, blossom of snow, may you bloom and grow, bloom and grow forever, edelweiss, edelweiss, bless my homeland forever. Carol introduced the moive“ The Sound Music” briefly. Allen:The most impressive song for me is also from“The Lion King 1”,which appeared in an romatic sight. Well, during the discussion, one girl joined us, she is 15 years old, study in Huashan High school, her speaking is good, and after two years, she may go abroad as an exchange student, I admire her, and we all know to go abroad, money is necessary thing, but not the only thing, good at studying it importmant too.
