In nearly all of these studies, changes in vascular diameters were not statistically significant, presumably due to the heterogeneity of the tumor growth pattern. In this study we also found a slight but not significant increase in the mean tumor vessel diameter with tumor growth and a shift of vessel diameter to a larger size. |
