Job Description a) Support key customers in Greater China region and responsible for addressing technical and application inquires related to Genomics product portfolio, including next-gen sequencing/targeted sequencing, microarrays, PCR and qPCR, etc; b) Identify key researchers (director level) with research budget and help these budget holders understand the potential and relevant of Agilent genomics technology to their future research work and direction, and how Agilent can partner with these key thought users; c) Assist sales team with pre- and post-sales activities such as onsite customer visits, seminars and presentation, pilot experiments and validation studies; d) Contribute to group projects within the China application and sales support team; e) Assist and contribute to the field marketing activities that directly drive the genomics business in the Greater China region; f) Work closely with sales team and channel partners to achieve the revenue and management objectives. Qualifications - Minimum MS degree in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or equivalent; PhD preferred - Solid technical knowledge in most common molecular biology techniques and working knowledge in QPCR/PCR, next-gen sequencing, nucleic acid manipulation, cloning, and protein expression is a must(bioanalyser and microarrays experience is highly desirable) - Excellent communication and public presentation skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Demonstrated ability to write technical or marketing documentation, create customer-facing presentations, and to analyze complex biological data and information - Solid team player with good self management, organizational and prioritization skills - Written and oral fluency in English and Chinese - Excellent computer operation experience (PC preferred) and familiar with applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and NetMeeting - Flexibility in working hours and available for up to 35% business travel within Greater China region |
