Job Title：Scientist
Work Location:  Shanghai, Pudong Gaoqiao
Reporting to: Manager Asia Pacific, A-EBA/D Development Center II
People Management Responsibility: No
Travel Required: No
Shift Required: No

JOB OBJECTIVES:
       Development and improvement of polymer synthesis and evaluation workflow.
       Support of polymer production of Construction Chemicals – Asia Pacific as key RM for Admixture System in the region.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
       Polymer synthesis development independently or in cooperation with co-workers from own and other development center
       Manage project progress to meet agreed key targets on schedule
       Raw materials evaluations
       Contribute to competencies in the group on a wide range of relevant areas, e.g., polymer chemistry, synthesis technologies, process development, analytical techniques.
       Support production
       Produce technical support to operating businesses when required
       Maintain good lab working processes
       Conform to all EHS procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

       PhD or master degree of Polymer chemistry, PhD preferred
       At least 6 years related experience preferable
       Very good English
       Polymer synthesis (water soluble polymer) Experience with Analytical Instruments
       Leading a project
       Outstanding communication skills
       Team work spirits
       Able to work under pressure
