My ideal university Good everning ,ladies and gentlemen.I am Lihongru from Grade 2005 ,Postgraduate Department .today we’ll discuss a popular theme “my ideal university”. As is common to every college student ,The idea of ideal university is a large campus with good food ,nice dormitories,tall buildings ,knowledgeable teachers and a strong medical department. But for me ,two points are far more important.one is the library,the other is the teaching system. Library is an important public facility for a university,it enables and encourages students to gain unbiased access to books ,information, knowledge and works of creative imagination.since the library is so important ,I have been dreaming of having a kind of library ,which can offer a wide range of choices including books,magazines e-journals and video materials ect. Which can offer convenient services such as ordering and renewing books easily at home or searching literatures readily anywhere. I feel very gratified that our library has made so many efforts and has got great progress these years. Besides the library, an effective and reasonable teaching system is also yearning to me . What is a great teaching system? The aim of education is to instruct students to stand faith and seek truth.university is the place where there are so many students shining with the brilliance of faith and truth,it must radiate the aura of sanctity. An ideal University should not simply devote to teaching as much as she can to her students.she had better focuse on the needs of individuals.she would rather dedicate to making sure every student understands and learns at his or her pace . It seems so great if we can bathe in the aura of freedom ,providing that we can roam freely and fearlessly in the realm of education,like lions in the forest. On the other hand , teachers should try to guide us to critical discussion.critical maneuver can open space for thinking and questioning differently.in this way,we can find an endless wide margin to insribe ,and get chances to move in new directions.I am sorry to say ,this is so abscent in Chinese University,and it is one of the reason why there is no local Chinese Robel Winner so far. So my picture of ideal university is a great library and an effective teaching system. That is all. Thank you! |
