A business trip
I haven’t post in EC for a long time. During October, my fellow and I were sent to a medical university affiliated hospital in the city of Hefei to receive training on clinical microbiological detection. Coincidentally, the hospital was busy for the 3 armour review. There was no weekend for both of us. It was so tired because of a large amount of patients’ samples.
The test technician, 50-year-old, who was an easy-going and experienced man, provided us with direction and help. He had enough patience to explain the terminology to us. Different treatment methods should be used to deal with different samples. He explained that again and again in order that the intern students and students for advanced study might understand. When we fulfilled the task, it always was nearly 12 o’clock.
We not only learn to deal with the samples but also learn to whether they infected bacteria, and if so, what kinds. As we were newcomers, it was very very difficult for us.
Luckily, we were not busy afternoon. Obviously, we got a bit of time to go away and see some friends. The botanical garden and the forest park were good place to visit. It was just as well that our manager didn't know about it, otherwise both of us would have been reprimand.
