[交流] 德州农工大学Corpus Christi分校 -- 招海洋化学专业博士生

A new research group led by Dr. Xinping Hu at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi is looking for two motivated students to join his group focusing on marine and coastal carbon cycles. The students will be placed in the Coastal & Marine System Science Ph.D. program. Dr. Hu is currently funded to examine water column carbon and oxygen dynamics in oil spill affected areas in the Gulf of Mexico. Along the line of working on this project, the students are expected to develop their own thesis topics. In addition, the students will have ample opportunities to interact with researchers from multidisciplinary fields both within the Ph.D. program and in the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies. The assistantship will have an excellent stipend and provide health insurance coverage and tuition support. Applications for Fall 2013 are due on 1 February 2013 for priority consideration. Early applications are also strongly encouraged toward summer 2013 admission. Interested applicants should consult this link for the proper application procedure. Selection of applicants will begin immediately until qualified candidates are identified.
