Back from picking oranges in an island with my friends

Just now I came back from picking oranges in an island surrounded by Yangtze River located in Zhenjiang with my colleagues in the lab and our female supervisor. The garden where we visited and dinned is an agritainment area with a pond keeping fish, in the center bamboo cloisters and pavilons built, in the houses tables and chairs prepared for play chesses or cards, along both sides of the cloisters fishing or playing golf is allowed. And oranges, figs and vegetables enbosom the pond. Our group, composed of 14 persons, all had a good time there. Some of us played Killers of the Three Kingdoms inside; some were seated and talked in chairs in the pavilions, sunning themselves; others picked oranges and laughed; half an hour later, we rotated naturally. After lunch there, we walked back for almost an hour to the bank of river for a ferry, passing through the residences through a paved path with one side fences enriched by many many oranges , the other a silver pond ornamented by reeds and withered lotus leaves. I love the island, the lofty gingkoes, shinning persimmons, round oranges and peaceful peple there. [ Last edited by tuqin2575 on 2012-11-11 at 17:01 ] |
