How to persuade?（diary of 11.11）

Just a dew minutes ago, i received a call from my aunt, telling my little brother lost his confidence on high school life. I made several telephone calls but he just rejected them. I tried sending text messages, giving the prospect that frustration was just a ritual mood under crucial contest and so on. When i was writing those messages, i feel a strong sense that these words were so meaningless and weak, worse more, it sounded like it was not out of my mind. I am always poor of persuasion, the feeling of failure and frustration is even strong when those who turn to me for help trust me so much.
