[求助] electrostatic potential

怎么用高斯得到如图的结果?谢谢!
The calculation of the atomic and molecular electrostatic
potential energy surfaces was performed using ab initio
methods. Geometry optimization and electrostatic potential
calculations for Z51 were performed using the GAUSSIAN
program16 at the unrestricted Hartree–Fock level using the
6-311g(3df,2p) basis set for N2 and C6H6. For the xenon
calculation the LANL2MB frozen core basis set was employed.
The criteria for convergence for these calculations
was 1026 H. For the calculations of the barrier length for the
molecular systems, the symmetry axis incorporating the
maximum number of nuclei ~along the NN bond for N2 and
through C1 and C4 for C6H6! was used for the onedimensional
electrostatic potential. The resulting potentials
are shown in Fig. 1 for the cases of the zero-range, Coulombic,
xenon, N2, and C6H6 systems. Comparison of the zerorange
and Coulomb potentials with the ab initio potentials
demonstrates that the Coulomb potential is an appropriate
model for the atomic Xe and the diatomic N2 at displacements

光从这段描述我没法确定横轴的具体含义。还得有文章其它部分才行。
如果是静电势随距离变化的话,用Multiwfn载入高斯生成的fch或wfn文件,再用其主功能3就能直接作出图来。

谢谢你的回答!就是随距离的变化,但我不明白的是,这个势是最外层电子感觉到的呢?还是别的什么呢?比如对于Xe , N2?谢谢你!

在原子核附近的位置,由于核电荷对静电势贡献是很大的正值,而电子贡献的负值相对较小,所以肯定是这样的图。
需要仔细阅读文献,看看他说的距离到底是指什么。肯定和你定义的不同。
