In order to characterise the metal loading of the metal-titania catalysts, we must dissolve the catalysts first, the general procedures are: weight 0.1g metal-titania catalyst3.0g(NH4)2SO4、6mL 98% concentrated sulfuric acid to a beaker, cover it with a piece of watch-glass, then heat the slurry for over20 mins with a electric furnace untill it becomes a transparent solution! And the strong acidity would affect the ICP results, I suggest that the solution should be diluted to a proportion of 0.01 aqueous solutions. [ Last edited by zhuyinhua on 2007-6-30 at 07:01 ] |
