Instructions for authors This journal uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (previously Manuscript Central) to peer review manuscript submissions. Please read the guide for ScholarOne authors before making a submission. Complete guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript to this journal are provided below. The instructions below are specifically directed at authors who wish to submit a manuscript to Environmental Technology Reviews . For general information, please visit the Author Services section of our website. Environmental Technology Reviews considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to Environmental Technology Reviews, that they have not been published already, nor are they under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs which Environmental Technology Reviews incurs and their papers will not be published. Contributions to Environmental Technology Reviews must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees at the discretion of the Editorial Office. Taylor & Francis makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the “Content”) contained in its publications. However, Taylor & Francis and its agents and licensors make no representations or warranties whatsoever as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability for any purpose of the Content and disclaim all such representations and warranties whether express or implied to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any views expressed in this publication are the views of the authors and are not the views of Taylor & Francis. Manuscript preparation 1. Style guidelines • Description of the Journal's article style , Quick guide • Description of the Journal's reference style , Quick guide • Latex template (Please save the LaTeX template to your hard drive and open it for use by clicking on the icon in Windows Explorer.) • Word templates are available for this journal. If you are not able to use the template via the links or if you have any other template queries, please contactauthortemplate@tandf.co.uk Please use UK spelling as per the Oxford dictionary (e.g. colour, organize). Use single quotation marks with double within if needed. If you have any questions about references or formatting your article, please contactauthorqueries@tandf.co.uk (please mention the journal title in your email). 2. General guidelines 1. Papers will be reformatted from authors' typescripts which must be supplied electronically via the Environmental Technology Scholar One Manuscripts site. Proofs will be printed and the final responsibility for accuracy rests with the author(s). 2. All submissions by non-native English speakers should take special care with the English in their papers and aim to have their texts edited by a proficient English speaker before submitting them to the Journal. Please see the Resources for Authors page for a range of editing and language polishing sites 3. Contributions may be up to 8,000 word equivalent and should be typed in a clear script and double spaced, with 1.5 cm margins all round. Figures • It is in the author's interest to provide the highest quality figure format possible. Please be sure that all imported scanned material is scanned at the appropriate resolution: 1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for colour. • Figures must be saved separate to text. Please do not embed figures in the paper file. • Files should be saved as one of the following formats: TIFF (tagged image file format), PostScript or EPS (encapsulated PostScript), and should contain all the necessary font information and the source file of the application (e.g. CorelDraw/Mac, CorelDraw/PC). • All figures must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the paper (e.g. figure 1, figure 2). In multi-part figures, each part should be labelled (e.g. figure 1(a), figure 1(b)). • Figure captions must be saved separately, as part of the file containing the complete text of the paper, and numbered correspondingly. • The filename for a graphic should be descriptive of the graphic, e.g. Figure1, Figure2a. 4. Colour The Journal has no free colour pages within its annual page allowance. Authors of accepted papers who propose publishing figures in colour in the print version should consult Taylor & Francis at proof stage to agree a financial contribution to colour reproduction costs. Figures that appear in black-and-white in the print edition of the Journal will appear in colour in the online edition, assuming colour originals are supplied. 5. Reproduction of copyright material As an author, you are required to secure permission to reproduce any proprietary text, illustration, table, or other material, including data, audio, video, film stills, and screenshots, and any supplementary material you propose to submit. This applies to direct reproduction as well as “derivative reproduction” (where you have created a new figure or table which derives substantially from a copyrighted source). The reproduction of short extracts of text, excluding poetry and song lyrics, for the purposes of criticism may be possible without formal permission on the basis that the quotation is reproduced accurately and full attribution is given. for further information and FAQs, please seehttp://journalauthors.tandf.co.uk/preparation/permission.asp Copies of permission letters should be sent with the manuscript upon submission to the editors. • Copyright permission letter template 6. Supplementary online material Authors are welcome to submit animations, movie files, sound files or any additional information for online publication. • Information about supplementary online material Manuscript submission All submissions should be made online at the Environmental Technology ScholarOne Manuscripts site . Manuscripts may be submitted in any standard format, including Word, PostScript and PDF. These files will be automatically converted into a PDF file for the review process. LaTeX files should be converted to PDF prior to submission because ScholarOne Manuscripts is not able to convert LaTeX files into PDFs directly. This journal does not accept Microsoft Word 2007 documents. Please use Word's "Save As" option to save your document as an older (.doc) file type.> Click here for Information regarding anonymous peer review Please note that all submitting authors will be requested to pick the appropriate Editor for their paper at submission stage from a drop down menu which will be the same as the list below. Atmospheric Sciences and all ‘Air’ Manuscripts - Prof. R.M. Harrison OBE Western Europe & UK - Prof. P. Le Cloirec Central Europe, Middle East, & Africa - Prof. Isik Kabdasli Asia & Australasia - Prof. J.W.C. Wong Japan- Prof. Y. Shimizu North America – Engineering - Prof. J.A. Oleszkiewicz North America – Science - Dr S. M. Tiquia South America - Dr. H. de Melo Lisboa Accepted Manuscripts Online (AMO) For selected journals, (such as Environmental Technology) , Taylor & Francis offers the Accepted Manuscript Online (AMO) feature, whereby the final, accepted (but unedited and uncorrected) manuscript is posted online in HTML form, normally seven working days after receipt at Taylor & Francis. The posted file is clearly identified as an unedited manuscript that has been accepted for publication. Copy-editing, typesetting, and review of the resulting proof are then undertaken on this manuscript. This early published article will be replaced with a final, corrected version (the Version of Record [VoR]), and placed into an issue of Environmental Technology . Please note that, if accepted, your paper will run through the AMO workflow. You will be notified when your paper is first published online, though an exact posting date cannot be given in advance. Copyright and authors’ rights It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright or license the publication rights in their articles, including abstracts, to Taylor & Francis. This enables us to ensure full copyright protection and to disseminate the article, and of course the Journal, to the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats as appropriate. Authors retain many rights under the Taylor & Francis rights policies, which can be found athttp://journalauthors.tandf.co.uk/preparation/copyright.asp . Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources. Exceptions are made for certain Governments’ employees whose policies require that copyright cannot be transferred to other parties. We ask that a signed statement to this effect is submitted when returning proofs for accepted papers. Free article access As corresponding author, you will receive free access to your article on Taylor & Francis Online. You will be given access to the My authored works section of Taylor & Francis Online, which shows you all your published articles. You can easily view, read, and download your published articles from there. In addition, if someone has cited your article, you will be able to see this information. We are committed to promoting and increasing the visibility of your article and have provided this guidance on how you can help . Reprints and journal copies Article reprints can be ordered through Rightslink® when you receive your proofs. If you have any queries about reprints, please contact the Taylor & Francis Author Services team at reprints@tandf.co.uk . To order a copy of the issue containing your article, please contact our Customer Services team at subscriptions@tandf.co.uk . Open Access Taylor & Francis Open Select provides authors or their research sponsors and funders with the option of paying a publishing fee and thereby making an article permanently available for free online access – open access – immediately on publication to anyone, anywhere, at any time. This option is made available once an article has been accepted in peer review. Full details of our Open Access programme:http://journalauthors.tandf.co.uk/preparation/OpenAccess.asp Visit our Author Services website for further resources and guides to the complete publication process and beyond. |

您好,我想投environmental technology 但是这句话不理解,我投稿被拒绝,编辑给了这句话A typical manuscript will not exceed 8000 excluding tables, references, captions, footnotes and endnotes. Manuscripts that greatly exceed this will be critically reviewed with respect to length. Authors should include a word count with their manuscript. |
