experience of English training center interview

I want to learn English, especially hope to improve my listening and spoken English. I'v been maintaining my English level by myself since two years ago. Because i seldom need use English in my daily work after graduated from university, so i can not study efficiently, always disturbed by other things easyly. It was very bothering me all the time. Recently, after a friend told me his English improved by a Internet course, i make a decision that i turn to the professional training center, at least i need a try. I connected a famous English training center's branch the day befor yesterday, and their clerk invited me to personally talk. Then, i went to their offices yesterday, and a yang lady called couse consultant talk to me. Firstly, she leaded me to a room, and told me to take a examination for knowing my English level. After almost 20 min for examing, she started to talk with me. Our conversation lasted 3.5h, she asked me some basicly information, such as which univeristy i was graduated from? passed CET6 or not? how much my salary was curently? and so on. that is nature, i think, everyone will ask like that. But she obviously was very very interested in two questions, coz she asked me more than one hundred times, the one is that why you want to improve your english, and i told her clearly i think the English is very important to me as a technician and i want to enter multi-national company in the furture. the another one is that when do you plan to resign your current job, and i also clearly told her i plan to do that after spring festivel. Unfortunately, she always made a record while i was tallking, but she always focused on that, i felt very unease. Then she analyzed where is my problem, pointed out my pronunciation unclearly, my spoken English's grammar is terrible. Yes, i agree, so i need help. After that, i told her my will to learn, but she told me not everyone can qulified study in XX and they need checked my identity and i had to offer the name of my work unit, meanwhile their price is much higher than that of my friend study(the same company and course). I felt i cannot accept it and disappointed, it was nothing related to my study. So finally, i told her this is it and i quit. I don't know why can be like that. maybe just think i am very eager to need their help. Okay, i will persist in learning English, and will open the ways to try. |
