前些时候羡慕论坛的一个兄弟在杂志corrosion science上接收的一篇论文，今天幸运也降临到我头上了，嘿嘿。这篇稿子自从投稿到现在经历了近2年时间,而且一审让我大修，修改后，发了很长的cover letter，今天终于被接收了。后面再贴出在三个星期前写的cover letter，希望与大家交流，请多提宝贵意见，谢谢。 另外，在另一个帖子里也贴了我的两封催稿信（http://muchong.com/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=513227&fpage=0&highlight=&page=1），希望大家提供意见，以改善下次工作。 Dear Dr. Thank you for your enquiry. Your paper was received in my office on 11 June, and I am pleased to tell you that it has been accepted for publication in Corrosion Science, and is being sent to the publisher. A formal letter of acceptance will be sent to you, and you will receive proofs from the publisher in due course. Yours sincerely cover letter for revision manuscript Dear Prof. Dr. *** (Editor in Chief) I would like to thank the referees for their nice comments on our manuscript. Actually, I try my best to revise the manuscript with my co-authors. It spent me almost one month to contact with my professor in China and to discuss the improvement in both English grammar and contents of this manuscript. As you see, we made a major revision for this manuscript, (almost rewrote it). You can find the modified and revised parts which are marked with blue color and underlined bold text. However, some grammar modifications have not been marked in the manuscript. Furthermore, I hope our english can make others understand well our idea presented in our manuscript because no any native English speaker colleagues can be available around us. In the attached document, I try to give a rebuttal against each point of the comments. Most of them have been revised and improved along the comments. However, as we mentioned in this document, I left from this lab. *** years ago. Now, the project has been ended and all the researchers (students) have graduated or been dismissed from the laboratory. So, it is very difficult for me to ask help for some further research from this laboratory ***. Fortunately, along the comments, we emphasize and improve the analysis on the corrosion mechanisms *** using ***, which was used in some relative references. Actually, it could be accepted to analyze the corrosion behavior using this method, as mentioned in those references. Of course, the comments have raised our interest in this research.***. As reported in our latest papers, the *** could be improved significantly by ***. Recently, *** as excellent *** against *** corrosion, even better than the promising ***, has been found. We consider the results should be published. As interpreted in this manuscript, we are also interested in the corrosion behavior of the compared＊＊＊under the present environment. However, we can only improve it later due to the limitations of our present condition. ＊＊＊ We hope you and the reviewers could accept our rebuttals and provide us more comments so that we can improve our future work. 媳妇说，不该 贴出来，因为我的很烂的英语，但地球人都知道俺英语不好，只是我认为大家都能明白我的意思，主要是想交流一下回复审稿人意见的经验，有的时候，虽然很被动，也不应该放弃！发论文，其实个人认为是发论文就是发思想（idea），只要你的思想有创新点，那怕有很多不足的地方，但一个创新点就足够发表了！个人观点，纯粹为了交流，以更好更快地发表高质量论文，也增进自己写作论文的能力。

非常感谢大家的建议！希望能够提出想法交流，最好能给一些具体的例子，大家共同借鉴。
