求助--帮分析一下这封回信-该如何回复

昨日有个Italy的教授回复邮件如下： Dear sir I thank you for your interest in our activity and I appreciate your availability to spend a period at LARM in Cassino. I shall be very happy to accept you in my team for long term period (3 or 6 months or more) but unfortunately I have no possibility to support your visit with a grant. Please look to alternative sources, like bilateral governmental programs or embassy grants or European grants, and I shall be very glad to accept you after having agreed on a work program and feasible dates. In order to have a suitable stay in Cassino you will need approximately 600 euro per month that will cover the expenses for meals and a room in flat with other students. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any help (letter of recommendation and/or acceptance, …) in asking for support to other institutions. However, in order to accept you at LARM I shall like to agree in advance on a suitable subject and a program of work with you and your local supervisor (pls give me name and email address). Please send me information on the subject that you will like to study with us and with which goals. You can find the subjects of our interest at LARM in the LARM webpage, but feel free to contact me for further information or preliminary discussion. At the moment we are particularly interested on the *****. Thus your work at LARM could be planned in two phase, namely to get acquainted with the design and operation of one of the existing systems through tests and operation programming, and then to work even on developments of the design and operation for enhanced or new solutions. I look forward to hearing from you on positive news 我感觉信里面写的很热情，但又不知道是不是他的模板式的回复，因为我cv里面和他信里面提到的研究内容其实差距还是有差距，只是大背景一致。 而且他接受条件是(1)不能提供funding support；(2) 希望申请国家的grants。 查了一下他本人情况，是一个比较好的国际××协会的主席，发表这样那样文章也有500多篇，感觉还是蛮厉害，但又在一个并不好的Cassino大学，而且也居然没有funding来招博后，感觉奇怪； 现在我想咨询一下，如果我愿意去的话(老板这人感觉还不错），我需要自己申请grants,这方面我不熟悉，偶也听说过欧洲的玛丽居里之类的，不知道是不是申请这一类的grants? 请熟悉这方面申请的，麻烦讲解一下，谢谢了如果我拒绝，该如何回复较好呢(对付这种热情的回信)？如果说学校不出名，肯定不好；如果说研究背景差异大，那肯定是自己告诉他之前在乱投，没看清楚他的情况；如果说担心grants，但他已告诉尝试申请grants。。。 |
