Title Position: Post-doctoral Work location: Texas A&M University (In 2011, ranking of public universities is 19th; national universities is 58th.) Position Description: Theselected person will conduct research activities in the area of NaturalProducts Chemistry and bioactive compound discovery from food and medicinalplants. The selected person will have a thorough knowledge on the techniques ofseparation, isolation and identification of compounds as well as skills andknowledge on the use of advanced equipment including the LC-MS ion trap system.The selected person will introduce new techniques in the lab and conducthis/her own research activities as well as supporting research activities ofgraduate students in the group. In addition, the selected person will writereports and scientific papers and collaborate in proposal writing to besubmitted to industry and government agencies. A PhD in Natural Products Chemistry or similar fieldis of preference and thorough knowledge and technical skills in LC-MS isrequired.
