[求助] 如何将成都有机物化所碳纳米管切短到200nm?

These cut tubes were prepared in a two-step process:
cutting and polishing. In a typical example, 10 mg of the
purified SWNT “bucky paper” (Fig. 1B) was suspended
in 40 ml of a 3:1 mixture of concentrated H2SO4/HNO3
in a 100-ml test tube and sonicated in awater bath [Cole
Palmer (Verona Hills, IL) model B3-R, 55 kHz] for 24
hours at 35° to 40°C. The resultant suspension was
then diluted with 200 ml of water, and the larger cut
SWNTs were collected on a 100-nm pore filter mem-
brane (type VCTP; Millipore) and washed with 10 mM
NaOH solution. The cut tubes were then further pol-
ished by suspension in a 4:1 mixture of concentrated
H2SO4:30% aqueous H2O2 and stirring at 70°C for 30
min. After filtering and washing again on a 100-nm pore
filter, the cut nanotubes were suspended at a density of
0.1 mg/ml in water with the aid of 0.5 weight % Triton
X-100 surfactant.
这是science上一片名为Fullerene Pipes上的文章中削短碳纳米管的介绍,不明白的问题有二:
1.上面说的55kHz不会是真的吧,应该是他那个仪器的最大频率吧?我们实验室也有一个power130w,Frequency20kHz的超声杯,我不知道要把AMPL设为百分之多少。
2.最后要加硫酸与双氧水polishing是什么意思?

我的目的是把碳纳米管切成200nm的长度来做排列,很纠结,我感觉按照文献上做也不正确,因为原料不同,我买的是成都有机物物化所的,不知道有谁做过切短的实验?我们学校做TEM很不方便,焦急中~~~

成都有机所单壁管切断是通过超声破碎仪长时间超声达到切断效果,功率大概500w超声1-1.5h左右
